HANS JACOBSEN'S BORNHOLM ISLAND
NDB IMAGES:

These impressive shots of the NDB 'Fauna' on Bornholm Island, Denmark, which operates on 334 kHz, were taken by Hans, so we're very grateful to him for sharing them with us here in the Beacon Gallery.

Hans also tells me that the sign at the entrance to the NDB says that people should not get close to the installation as it would interrupt the transmissions - good advice! AERAD lists the coordinates for this one as: N5501.7, E01454.1, and shows it as a Non A2A type NDB, with a range of 20 Nautical Miles. It is listed as a Locator beacon for Bornholm Ronne Airport (EKRN).
