Hello all Are you are looking forward to our ’Noah's Ark’ Holiday CLE? It starts at midday on Christmas Day (25th) and you can listen at any times from then right through to midday on Sunday 4th January. It's very straightforward. Just as the animals went into the Ark two by two, so the Radio Countries' NDBs will go into our logs two by two. Days: Thursday 25th December – Sunday 04th January Times: Start and end at midday, LOCAL time at the receiver Target: A maximum of TWO NDBs from each Radio Country Range: 190 – 1740 kHz Please join us wherever you are and try to log TWO NDBs from each of as many radio countries as you can. For AUS, CAN and USA, all states / provinces are valid countries. Each International Waters region is also a separate valid radio country of course. Each NDB making the pairs can be logged at any time during the event. UNIDs are not included this time. Noah had no single animals in the Ark, but if you can only log ONE NDB from a Country, it will of course be welcome in your log without a mate! We are all asked to please listen for your NEAREST active NDB and include that with the one other logging for that Country (if any). Send your final CLE log to the List, preferably as a plain text email (not in an attachment) with 'CLE323 FINAL' in its subject line. Please show on EVERY LINE of your log: The Date (e.g. '2025-12-25', etc., or just '25' ) and UTC (the day changes at 00:00 UTC). kHz (The beacon's nominal published frequency). If you don’t know it, please visit https://rxx.classaxe.com where you will find all the details. The Call Ident. Show those main items FIRST on each line, before other optional details such as Location, Distance, etc. Please don’t forget to add your listening location (the 6-digit Maidenhead-Locator) for either your home location or the remote receiver that you were using during the CLE. Also, if you use a remote receiver which is publicly available, please give the web-address for it. Always make your log interesting to everyone by giving further details of your listening location and also of the receiver, aerial(s), etc., that you were using. If you send any interim logs during the event, please also send your 'FINAL' complete log. It is not necessary for you to add blank lines to delimit your country pairs in the log. However, if you like, you can send your log in Radio Country order instead of the usual kHz order, to make it more readable for other participants. The usual 'Any More Logs?' email will be sent at about 19:00 UTC on Monday, 05 January so you can check that your log has been found OK. Do make sure that your log has arrived on the List by 08:00 UTC on Tuesday, 06 January. The combined results will then be completed within a day or two. You can find full information about current and past CLEs from the CLE page at https://www.ndblist.info/cle.htm. You can also find your relevant seeklists made from REU/RNA/RWW by visiting https://rxx.classaxe.com/cle. In case of any questions you can contact us either via the list or via direct e-mail (ndbcle@ndblist.info). Good listening Joachim (CLE Coordinator) Reminder: You could use any ONE remote receiver for your loggings, stating its location and owner - with their permission if required. A remote listener may NOT also use another receiver, whether local or remote, to obtain further loggings for the same CLE.
